2024 AGC Award of Honor

This full-service credit union sits at the corner of 9th Avenue and High Street in Winfield, Kansas. This 4,500 sq foot building gives PFCU space to grow and will expand the services they offer to our community. Site layout, including drive-up teller access, was a key component to the design. The use of locally quarried stone and engineered wood respects the aesthetic of the adjacent residential neighborhood. A strong roof line reflects PFCU’s home credit union facility in Wellington, KS, and features a light-filled atrium lobby with a full-length clerestory. The vault contributes a prominent design accent to the lobby. Agora provided full design services including interior design and involvement in furniture selection.
